Description
On years that receive the right combination of rain and sunlight, the hillsides of California are turned into a complete wildflower wonderland during the spring. This is part of a series of pictures taken at a location that has been overrun with people who found out about it over the internet. People came, throwing down blankets & picnicing in the flowers...trampling through them...picking them. Because of this, we are beginning to lose access to some of these magnificent displays of nature. I hope to preserve the beauty through my photography...and, I hope generations in the future are able to experience these incredible wonders.

Thank you, Joan!! I am just reliving the beauty of being here & dreaming that we will get enough rain to see it, again, one day!! It's been a while & I would love to re-shoot it. But...I was very blessed to have seen it, at all!!
