Description
There is a unique creation of nature
Known as the Sargasso Sea.
A creature of sorts
That has no shores
Held within the ocean currents embrace
The water is strangely calm and warm
And filled with a thick tangle of
Sargassum seaweed.
Swirling slowly in a clockwise whirl
Like a time piece from another world
Marine plants and creatures
Are swept into the Sargasso Sea
And find protection within
So it is not such a bad place to be
For others of the human kind
Who find their way into this mystery
That lives within the heart of the Bermuda T
There is no escape
From the wild Sargasso Sea
And its tangled forever embrace.
Wild Sargasso Sea prose by Carol Cavalaris
A wild tangle of blue and green seaweed, coral, and fish. This abstract painting is a mixed medium combination of alcohol inks and digital painting. From the Organica Colleciton of art by Carol Cavalaris.
