Description
Here I sit, just playing, and this is what happens:>) A photograph of a Wild Geranium blossom becomes a work that looks kind of like mixed media. It was all a progression - one thing lead to another and here it is. Somewhere in the messing around I used a texture from Kim Klassen - that is the background for the flowers. Of course the colors are all changed, opacities are manipulated, the original background of the flower is erased and since the edges of the flower were darker and I couldn't get it out of there, I gave the layer a bevel, did some light erasing at different percentages (10% and 25% were most of it). The flower was duplicated, then copied again to create a second floral image for the lower corner. There was no plan, merely going from one thing to another:>)

The process...."going from one thing to another"....that's the fun of art and this is so fun!!!

LOL - I had absolutely no goal here, so the sense of freedom was huge! If I ruined it, it didn't matter:>) When I'm out taking pictures I usually try to compose images well so the work on a picture is minimal to none. This image was just putting one foot in front of the other and not looking ahead, so to speak. FUN - Oh, Yes! Thanks for this perfect comment!!!! (Hi, Feather)
