Description
This is the bar in my new studio appropriately named, MOODS. I play Miss Kitty when I have a gig. I'd like to be able to support myself on photography, but I've got to keep it real, so I found a building I could host events in with apartments upstairs. I finished renovations on the building in November & the rest is history! Stop by if you're in town! We're located in Topeka, Kansas. Dodge City is way down in the southwest corner of the state - we're the capital of Kansas & such a controversial state at present....

First Friday?! I'll be there with Barbara for our 20th anniversary dinner! (You know how this will end, don't you?) April Fool! (The being there, not the anniversary.) It sounds like you're offering Topeka a lot of fun. The Mayor may drop in during his campaign tour to meet Miss Kitty and quench his thirst. Sarsaparilla with a twist of maraschino, straight up. I was very surprised when the director of 1020ART asked me to bring The Mayor and The Professor to her "Body of Work" opening on First Friday, May 6. (Have you noticed that they are never seen together? Very suspicious.) Anything body: body painting, tattoos, body molding, music, dance ("You can leave your hat on!" [Randy Newman]), anatomical art, and now, The Mayor! What was SHE thinking/drinking? It has taken me 5 years to convince her that even art patrons have senses of humor. C'mon down and bring Marshall Dillon! Or Chester and his girlfriend, Bustier. Have a great time tonight.

Thanks Jim! Big party this First Friday Art Walk! I've been editing wedding photos from a shoot I did a few weeks ago. Had a meeting sitting right there on the corner bar stool today - this is one of the craziest things I've ever attempted...what was I thinking?!
