Description
White Tiger Azalea - from In The Garden series, by award-winning artists Ben and Raisa Gertsberg, aka BRG, who collaborate under the name It's a Beautiful World!
This artwork has a vintage feel to it, it is a closeup of petals of blooming flowers in pastel colors of pink, beige, brown, green and burgundy. In the middle of the bloom there are dark red lines, stripes and patterns painted by nature itself.
Alstroemeria commonly called the Peruvian lily or lily of the Incas, is a South American genus of about 120 species of flowering plants. Almost all of the species are restricted to one of two distinct centers of diversity, one in central Chile, the other in eastern Brazil. Species of Alstroemeria from Chile are winter-growing plants while those of Brazil are summer-growing. All are long-lived perennials.

That is not an azalea, but an Alstromeria. Azalea is a shrub and Alstomeria comes from a bulb. The picture is attractive though.

Thank you for stopping by to comment, Harold...happy you like our image! Yes, you are right, and it is also known as Peruvian lily - we learned that shortly after we titled the image but decided to keep the old title... Raisa
