Most of the islands and islets in the Stockholm Archipelago are lushly wooded and green. These two islands however, have been decimated as the result of being overrun by cormorants, leaving them with a stark and tragic beauty. This panoramic image is a composite of three images taken just before sunrise, toned with silver and pewter filters.
