There's only one thing in this photo and that is all there needs to be!!! Your subject does it very well, all by its self. The detail is marvelous, right down to his little toes tucked into his feathers and the little bit of tongue at the end of his bill. I love the soft muted background that brings the eye immediately to the bird. What a delightful catch!! Thank you for sharing.

You have a good camera. I've learned it takes 3000th/second to show the wings of a hummer crystal sharp all the way to the tip of the wings.
