Ion, This is definitely a magical piece. Sometimes I think of Nature looking back at me. I see images in my paintings sometimes that I did not know were there when I painted them. Then somebody will say "I see a face in this... Or I see eyes, etc. Then I look again and I see them too. You have a magnificent portfolio of work on FAA. As I said in another comment, I wish I could write to you about more of your work -that is- to say favorable comments. As for your question about how to reply -I think either way is fine. If you write directly to the artist, he or she might see it sooner. But if you write it in your comment under the picture, they might not see it as soon. But either way is good.

Thank you, Leona! (BTW, in your experience is better to Reply to a comment or to use Post a comment? or there is no difference?)

Which to pick? I go over to your fabulously beautiful, interesting eclectic site and it's soooo hard to decide. The one I was going to comment on first was the nude lying in the grass, facing away. Oh, that was so gorgeous but then I couldn't help it! This unbelievably magical painting caught my eye and I had to tell you how much I love the mystical nature, dreamlike quality, colors, textures I could look at for hours figuring out how you applied your paint, not to mention that airship rising like a moon against a even more gorgeously textured sky. Then, don't get me started on the shadows and grasses..... FAV/Vote and Watch back!

Many, many thanks Lil, for your so generous comment (and fav/ vote etc) I wish I had an agent so enthusiast as you are! so that I can do what I do best: paint and draw...

Hi Ion, Yes, faces often seem to appear in my work in the recent past as well. I believe it may have something to do with the world were it is in history now. And what is at hand. So many people looking back but not seeing. Love and Peace, Windy Mountain

A delightful and very original work. I've often felt the 'eye of nature' looking back at me.

You are most kind, Carol. Thank You. I had the same feeling, yes, not often but in the moment of grace. May those be more numerous for you and me and whomever has the patience and desire to have it...(sound kind of corny, but you understand...)

Beautiful inspiration, Transilvania is amazing , and what an unique and lovely composition! Multa sanatate, Ion, splendide lucrari am gasit in galeria ta, o reala placere si delectare sa trec prin ele.

we have a lot in common, Evelina: a part from our being Canadians of Romanian descent. We both love color and have a knack for it (at least the first part is true, for me!). Iti multumesc pt aprecieri si placerea e de partea mea, cand te vizitez. Sa speram ca o sa si vindem cate ceva...

Ion, you've made me laugh this morning.. you knew exactly what I felt when I looked. Ed would say, "great minds think alike."

Sharon, your turn to make me rejoice. Yes, great minds think alike. It is probably what Aldoux Huxley researched in his book Philospphia Perennis... (I am becoming doctoral and stuff because I got emotional when praised...)

Ion you have a wonderful imagination and the ability to share it with the world. What you say in your description makes sense to me.

As always, thank you, Bob.

Thanks Sharon! it's kind of an intoxicating feeling when it happens, isn't it. Your imagination takes over and you are amazed by the result. And you would wish to do it again and again. It's just that you have to pay the bills and the mundane stuff pushes you backwards...

Amazing work Ion, funny how ones imagination can take hold and lead us on an unimaginable journey.
