Image shot in early morning using a neutral density filter at max. Seasonal colors just beginning to show in late September. This waterfall is found in the Jon J. Duerr Forest Preserve in South Elgin, Illinois along the river bend bike trail which follows the bend in the Fox River. This historical park houses the gravesite of General Scott's unknown soldiers from the Civil War as well as some aboriginal sites. It is a well kept secret in Kane County Illinois.
A 15 second exposure at f 22 was processed using Photomatix Pro 5 and further processed in Photoshop using the Detail 3 filter from Topaz Labs producing this HDR image.
