Thanks again to all who commented so nicely about this acrylic and pastel painting. It was so much fun to do. I'm glad you like the unusual cloud colors as well as the rest of the painting. Yes, I wish good luck to the little sailboat too. Smiles, Anne

Beautiful work dear Anne; I love the rich color and the awesome waves breaking on the rocks....jd

Wonderful painting Anne with impressing colours and atmosphere..! Like the sea very much, nevertheless I am no sailor, ..so I would like to climb up the rock and watch the wonderful sky and the sailboat..Surely I would try to warn the steerer to beware of the surf and the cliffs.... Almo v/f
Anne-Elizabeth Whiteway replied:
Thank you Alfred for your compliments. I an no sailor either. I would sit and watch just as you said.

Anne-Elizabeth,I thought I had commented on this, but I see this is a new version! Shows how much I like this theme as I was drawn to it again straight away. The colours are my favourite, especially of the rocks.I call this shade "pansy violet" Sorry to be boring if I said that before! I want to sail away under those pink candy-floss clouds ! So lovely! v/f
Anne-Elizabeth Whiteway replied:
Thank you Jane. You are right. This is a new version. So glad you like this. You are never boring. I'd love to sail away too. Smiles to you. I will visit your site again soon to admire your magnificent works of art.
