Thanks, Louisiana from a New Orleans Perspective (and Michael) for the feature! :) kk

I think the sign in the image is perfect for all the pastel colors in this street scene. It pays to get up early! :) Well done!

Great shot! I have never seen Decatur street that quiet.
Kathleen K Parker replied:
I got up before sunrise. I was staying at the Bienville House, shooting a three day birthday party for some people from Arkansas. So for two mornings, I got up about 6 AM and got out there. Truly worth it!! The only time I ever saw it that deserted in my life, and I have lived here all my life except after Katrina for two years, was in October and November after Katrina in 2005. I love it at dawn, Chuck. Thanks!

A wonderful composition, kk! I love the tones and feel of this image. Shouldn't Lush be a block over on Bourbon St? :)
Kathleen K Parker replied:
Lush is a fancy soap store, but if it were about lush women, it would definitely belong on Bourbon St. Thanks, Steve! :) kk
