Description
When my boys were small we went by the under pass in Pocetello, Idaho to wait for the Independence Day Parade to begin. A girl gave the flags to them to wave during the procession (and to help keep them distracted while we waited).

One of the joys of being a member of FAA is looking at the work of other artists - sometimes for inspiration and sometimes with envy. What I like about this picture is the subtle different look between the boys. If you were to meet these boys many years later would you find that their looks may offer a clue too who they might become.
Lori Brackett replied:
Thank you, Richard, for your comments. I must say that both my boys are characters (different and lovable).

Your paintings are so true to life that when seeing the small thumbnail shots I thought they were actually photographs! Like this one. I am so impressed. Beautiful.
