Description
"Voluntary Simplicity" is about Gandhian philosophy. His quote says - "I search beauty in voluntary simplicity and slow tempo of life". He refuses to use technology to exploit people and nature. Our family friend, Madhav, believes these principles and lives by it. He has tried to minimize his needs. He is self sufficient about his clothing need by spinning the cotton yarn himself.
This painting has received a prestigious "Certificate of Excellence" from Portrait Society of America in International Portrait Competition - 2012, and was selected as "Best of Show" in BoldBrush Painting competition - July 2012.
