The Vasco da Gama Bridge (Portuguese: Ponte Vasco da Gama) is a cable-stayed bridge flanked by viaducts and rangeviews that spans the Tagus River in Parque das Nacoes in Lisbon, capital of Portugal. It is the longest bridge in Europe with a total length of 17.2 km (10.7 mi).

Oops! I just looked at the bridge I spoke of and it appears we went out under a different bridge. We did go out past the beautiful monuments with a lovely view of part of the city, however.

Yes, we went under this beautiful bridge on a Cruise ship. We also viewed "castle" from a view point, in Lisbon, up on top, passed a pretty cathedral. We enjoyed Lisbon and the people, very much! We wished we could have had more time there. Hopefully we shall return. A beautiful capture of the bridge! V/F
