Description
I am pleased to announce the outcome of the fundraising organized at the San Diego Repertory Theater, on April 4, 2013. I made a collage of 4 out of 69 pictures taken at the benefit. Those outstanding pictures were taken by the very talented Linda Collier, and posted here on FAA, under Producer Jerry Campbell’s kind permission. According to Jerry Campbell, “The performance was a complete success; the food at the reception was excellent; and the production was superb!” All six of my metallic and canvas prints from FAA were sold!!

Wonderful! Though this is past time, I am thrilled to see such efforts which went into the campaign for the Earthquake. I had a friend who is a doctor who went to Haiti to help shortly after people were allowed to go into the country to help. FLTw

Thanks for posting this, Nicole, and trying to help the Haitians! I've donated in the past, but also saddened that so much of the huge donations reportedly "disappears" and doesn't get to do the poor any good. vf

You are correct, Byron! Red tape, corruption, or foot-dragging hinders quick actions; however, I heard of some improvements being implemented, gradually. Thank you very much, Byron, for your help and concern for the Haitians.

Jerry Campbell, Linda Collier, together with other volunteers,produce that successful fundraising. It all begin with the 'permission to the use' of my artwork " Haitian Woman 2', on their flyers, and advertisement. Eventually, I felt part of that grand cause. I consider myself fortunate to be in company of such wonderful assembly. I thank you so much, Ken, for those heartwarming, upliftintg words!!
