Driving home from work I noticed this hot air balloon some distance from where it is in this frame. I was able to park car and rush back to the bridge where I set up my tripod and began shooting. This hot air balloon flying silently over the Susquehanna River caused more than a few heads to turn as it was visible to most folks here in Tunkhannock Pennsylvania U.S.A. Tunkhannock is a river community (West Branch of the Susquehanna River) in the Wyoming Valley of Northeast Pennsylvania. The name Tunkhannock is an Indian (Lenape) name meaning either "extensive meadows or narrow stream" depending on your source.
