Description

This is a creation that I originally created as a collage of bougainvillea flowers. I created several images out of this collage and one was this heart that is at the center of this image. Being in a particularly spiritual frame of mind when I created this, one thing led to another and this was the end result.

My mind was also on the tremendous outreaching and charity of people all over the world who are showing at this time in September 2015 they care, by offering their help and support to the struggling refugees who are desperately looking for safe havens around the world to call home. This was the reason I called this Universal Heart to celebrate the goodness that is in human beings everywhere, when they rise above their own self interest in the process of showing they care. And I praise God the creator of the universe for the light that shines through so many at this time!

A beautiful art piece to express your feelings. I am constantly surprised at the generosity of selflessness of people in times of tragedy, yet the next day those same hearts can be spewing hate at those who don't believe the same as they do. I'm glad you're not as cynical as I am. Maybe it's just the political season clouding my heart.
