"Under the Trees"

... An old Ford tow truck
rests under the wide foliage
of this tree on the edge
of the lake..
This is the rural countryside
near Gold Beach, in Oregon,
not far from the Pacific coastline.
The truck is abandoned,
rusty, and formerly red and white,
a workhorse in it's day.
The morning is foggy,
the lake shrouded in mist,
lovely reflections of the rustic
farm barn in the distance.
Late summer is changing
into fall shades of color
as autumn is just
around the corner...
