This breathtaking streak of glittering light reflected across the water toward us as the setting sun began to disappear behind the dark pines along the far bank of the lake. The scene was gorgeous! So, naturally I took this photograph; but, to my astonishment, when the photograph was displayed on my computer screen the glitter patterns in the water were absolutely magical! Sun glints on the slightly wind-rippled surface of the lake created an exquisite abstracted elongated elliptical glitter pattern light show!!! Look closely at full image size to see this amazing phenomena created by Mother Nature. Also notice the shadowy silhouetted pines against the slightly lighter blue-black sky in the background.
