Description
This is a double painting. I painted the background of the pink sky and palm frown first. letting it dry for a week, I then began the second painting. The green area is a thin layer of transparent sap green. That too had to dry before I could paint in the pink orchid.
The original painting sold on 8/21/2011.

I really like the way you use overlays such as in this painting with the fronds showing through. Adds another dimension - really nice. Thank you for your kind remarks on my painting of "A Nature Walk". Don't know if you read the description, but it's of our 2 sons from years ago who are now grown with sons & daughters of their own. Where does the time go?
