Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Description
This is one of my pieces that I will be showing at the Friends and Lovers show on 9/16 at the House of Rock, I call it Trapped behind Glass, it a tribute to my all time favorite artist, Luis Royo, he makes his women look so beautiful, and he puts a glow behind them, I thought this would be appropriate, since she is the light source. This is one of my old sketches that I did years ago, I finally put it to canvas.

Nice Job. Reminds me of "Dying earth" from Jack Vance. Should read it. I think you would love it!

Beautiful and wicked both. I love it. :)
Al Molina replied:
Thank you Rebecca, this was such a fun painting, I love to walk a little on the dark side, but still keep it beautiful.

This is amazing, love the good and evil in it
Al Molina replied:
Thanks Cinders, I like the way it turned out, the reference for the creature in the background, was my step son, I had him holding a glass display, like the one in the painting, with a tea light in it and I took a picture in the dark so I could get the light on his face and glass, I had him do an evil grin. pretty crazy Huh!!
