Description
There once was a girl who dreamed of touching the moon. She'd never heard of little girls doing such things, but every night, as the sleep mist began to fall, she'd go to her closet, put on her life jacket, and step confidently into the deeply flowing river, never worrying she might lose her footing. One night as she waded, a star rose over her shoulder and said, "Don't look down at your hands. Look before you in the water." She lifted her gaze and saw herself as one with the stars and the moon. The moon balanced as easily as a beach ball off her fingers. From that night on, she never dreamed of touching the moon again, for both it and the stars were now in her heart, as she'd always been in theirs.
"To Touch the Moon" is a lovely gift for yourself or all the dreamers in your life, children and adults alike. The print will have a canvas-like texture even if not printed on canvas.
"To Touch the Moon" is part of my "Eternal Childhood" series.
