Description
Time Flies, 8 exposures spaced 30 seconds apart for 4 minutes. These clouds were moving 50 mph. Soon after for several hours the tornados formed to our east, losing several homes and businesses. It was a wild night. This image was taken south of Amarillo, Texas looking east from my backyard.

I came back early to revisit this beauty. The clouds fascinate me to no end. Dreamy and magical.
Karen Slagle replied:
Thank you, Bunny...that was quite a night many tornados were formed from this cloud throughout the evening.

I love the way the composition creates a washboard effect with the clouds. Gorgeous capture and colors.

You did it very well. What an interesting image. My Dad grew up in Amarillo back in the 1930's. He told me once that the headline in the Amarillo newspaper said: "Wind did not blow today" !!
Karen Slagle replied:
Thank you Joe, I would love to see a headline like that sometime and yes, that would be great news. It still blows here.

What beautiful cloud formations. It's amazing how something so beautiful can turn so potentially deadly. Great capture, Karen.
Karen Slagle replied:
Thank you HH Photography. There were 17 tornado tracks from this night, a wild night..
