Description
I sometimes slip into some sort of an auto-pilot when I am painting. Like a needle in a defective compass wandering around and finally pointing to where it thinks north is. An effect of many lanterns in a dark mysterious place way back in a swamp somehow recurs to me once in a while. These illuminations in various forms and strengths find their way out of the murky atmosphere to offer what they can of light and placement. Really more mysterious than ominous, and that is a good thing.
