This illumination unfolded from a complex vision of a door, pierced with many openings, floating in space. There was no door knob and it did not appear to be hinged to anything. The Hebrew word "kaneis" - "enter" appeared, carved out towards the top center of the lower (rectangular) part of the door.
Then, etched into the top fan section of the upper arch came the Hebrew word "tsitsit" - "sparks", which also appeared in the form of 4 blue threads extending from openings in the door. These are threads of "techeilet" - blue dye from the blood of a shell fish that emerges every 70 years from the Mediterranean. I imagine them to be another vehicle of transference through the door.
Within upper arch appeared more Hebrew words: "karov mikol karov" - "Closer than anything near" - one of the Names for the Eternal. That arched section extends forward over the door like a transom.
Seven keyholes also appeared, cut through each side of the door.
A two-way mirror illuminates the openings, which at first only appear to be reflective, but approaching towards the door reveals the translucence of the other side.It would appear that going IN takes you THROUGH.
I need also to add that I listen for how long each section is to remain in the acid bath of the etching process. Because of the length of time indicated for the bottom section, it became quite thin with some parts actually etching through. Hence: "THROUGH THE THINNING DOOR."
Framed in mahogany.
