Description
Three Mallard Musketeers. We have called the three Mallards this for over a decade. Every time we visit Wilderness lake, they are always together at all times. Even though they have mates, they still stick together and their mates follow them.
The mallard or wild duck is a dabbling duck which breeds throughout the temperate and subtropical Americas, Europe, Asia, and North Africa, and has been introduced to New Zealand and Australia.
The males have a glossy green head and are grey on wings and belly, while the females have mainly brown-speckled plumage. Mallards live in wetlands, eat water plants and small animals, and are gregarious. This species is the ancestor of most breeds of domestic ducks.....
The Three Musketeers is a novel by C. Set in the 17th century, it recounts the adventures of a young man named d'Artagnan after he leaves home to travel to Paris, to join the Musketeers of the Guard..... D'Artagnan is not one of the musketeers of the title; those being his friends Athos, Porthos and Aramis, inseparable friends who live by the motto "all for one, one for all" a motto which is first put forth by d'Artagnan. It is a Classic which Ive enjoyed several times, and it has been made into a movie.
