This image got a bit crazy...very high surf and a high tide combined to make this a risky endeavor. Waves crashing everywhere and here I am surrounded by salty ocean water....never a goo scenario for my equipment and myself. Take care when exploring here for certain... Thors Well on the Oregon Coast is truly a place where magic occurs. As the waves sweep across the lava beach they shoot up from below to fill the crater and spill sea water out across the surrounding area. One must be very cautious shooting here as sneaker waves can take those intent on photographing or exploring by surprise. A wonderful place to visit and to photograph.
