I am delighted to announce that this beautiful Native American portrait received third place in the people category of Delaware Beach Life magazine's 2015 photography contest. "Their Spirit Is Among Us" appeared in the October, 2015 issue of the magazine.
In powerful and flowing movements, a Native American performs a traditional dance at the Nanticoke Powwow in Delaware. Held in September of each year, the pow wow event is on of the leading American Indian dance competitions on the east coast.
With its gorgeous colors and feeling of motion, this fine art photograph is one of my customer favorites.
