I love the mystery of the unicorn. Such a beautiful creature. The unicorn is a mythological animal, with many meanings. It's the symbol of the Christ, purity, male virility, strength, honor and loyalty. Back in the days of yore, it was said the unicorn could only be captured by a maiden (virgin). Thank you Dawn for your compliments! I don't like the commercially overdone fantasy unicorns! I am drawn to the unicorn by its mythology and meanings. The Mediaval unicorn tapestries especially.
