Well this is the culmination of a long wait!!! I have seen them and not have a camera with me, and I have seen them on the news just about every other day all summer long! But today was my day! I was setting up my camera just outside of New Port Richey Florida for my sunset photos and looking for a good spot to be in for the setting sun! I am always looking at the horizon when there are storms out over the gulf. I saw two sharp pointy clouds hanging down and I knew what was about to happen! I had to quickly change my lens from a wide angel to a long telephoto lens! By this time the two waterspouts had fully formed, and was all the way down to the water! And I was ready. I got two photos and watched as one of the waterspouts died! But the other continued on for another 5mins. But that is all I needed to get these amazing photos! My photos are not the best but it was a real thrill to be here and get this shot. There were other water spouts spotted on this day but no one got twins! I hope you enjoy "The Twin Spin"!!!!
