Description
The mother is teaching her daughter to read. Her daughter is holding a doll. The book says in French: "I am learning to read". The letters A,B,C,D,E, are on the side of the book. The back of the book shows a lamb with the syllables "BE BE imitating the bleat of the lamb. They sit barefooted on the mat. Their shoes are hastily placed on the ground in front of them.
