one glorious plosion
a flash in the void of eternity
and all that ever was
and ever will be was begun
a cosmological expansion
racing to an endpoint
(if an ending there will be)
we cannot map
we swim in a soup of stars
having been gifted
(and been cursed)
with just enough intelligence
to know we never will be certain
of a meaning or a purpose
is it not enough to simply know
we are?

Ooo, I can almost feel this! Love the angle, colors and comp. It all fits so well together and my eyes float. Is it just me or does the pebbles shape a dancing horse with the mule towards the young stretching hand? I can see a whole story (reading your description) unfolding here, full of magic.. :o)
