The Joseph Medill is Chicago Fireboat Engine 37. It was launched in 1949 and retired sometime after 1986. It has been rotting away in Escanaba, MI since the early 2000's. Sometime during 2018 it must have been scraped because it's not there anymore and I can't find any additional information about it.
