Description
This is the second painting in a series of three, painted on one afternoon from a beach in Portsmouth looking across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. The weather was still windy but a this point the clouds became larger and more substantial. I liked the soft blue of the sky and sea and the huge soft 'weight' of the clouds.
