This is Wrigley Field, Home of the Chicago Cubs and one of those 'bucket list' places for those who love baseball. My dad was a Cubs fan and our vacations were spent at Wrigley Field watching Ernie Banks, Ron Santo and Billy Williams. Heaven on earth? Oh yeah! It still is! I have a family now, and this is the place to be to cheer on our Cubbies. To my dad, who never got to see them win a World Series, and to all of us who have faith and hope that they will win it someday, go Cubs!!! This work is done in sepia to give it a vintage look and to preserve those childhood memories in all of us. This is also a panoramic view of Wrigley Field as it stood for 100 years before the $575 million renovation that began on September 25,2014. I am pleased to offer the Wrigley Field of "yesteryear" with its grand tradition and robust history.
Fast-forward to August, 2015.......The Friendly Confines is having a phenomenal year of exciting baseball. Perhaps it's time to purchase a bit of that excitement for your home or office.
