Description
I made this poster after Hurricane Katrina. Found it on one of my externals.
Note the guitar in the bricks and the flag on the house. The marks on the houses are the searchers marks, indicating that the house was searched and what was found inside. I spent about 15 minutes in this area twice. Both times my eyes turned blood shot red and there was not a bug, animal, or bird in sight. I have hemmed and hawed about putting this in here. Decided it was important. So it goes in. This was a very different street photography than I had ever done. kkp

Thanks so much, my Rockville, MD buyer. We are doing okay here now. Been awhile, but we are back and of course won't forget this ever in our lifetimes. You know, the day I went in that area of town and shot the image of the guitar in the rubble (which gave me the title of the piece), there was NOT one bug or live animal around. I stayed 15 mins and my eyes were red hot and felt on fire. It was something most people will never see. I am glad you got this print, Rockville buyer. This piece means a lot to me. Thank you so very much! KK

I honestly can not decide between the color and B&W version. Each has its own powerful impact! Either way, this is compelling photography, kk! vf
