This sallow water cove is home to lots of small fish and crabs. Lots of birds frequent the area in search of food. It was just my luck that there was no birds here for me take pictures of. This sandy area was protected from the waves of the Gulf of Mexico. As I decided to take the photo of just the cove, I could hear the surf of the gull just behind me. I love this photo because of the calmness and relaxed feeling of the area. I could see building storms inland, and I knew the calmness would not last all day. I hope you enjoy "The Cove" as much as I did!! Photo shot in Ft. Desoto park, Florida.
