Description
The 2011 issue of American Artist magazine calls Death Valley the national park least discovered by artists. Boasting over three million acres and 130 miles long, it is the largest National Park in the contiguous USA
For 27 years we rode to Death Valley with the Orange County Road Riders, for what we called "The Dirty Socks" motorcycle run. Usually there would be at least a dozen to eighteen couples. We brought food to share and the club paid for the best pot of Chilli & Roasted ears of corn. At least when it was ready, due to the cold damp climate, sometimes with snow on the ground it tasted the best. ;-)

Beautiful image. For 10 years, I've vacationed in Death Valley (winter destination!) and noticed other artists' renditions of it and this is my favorite so far. I painted a rendition of the Golden Canyon but want to do so many more scenes.
