The Senile plaques and the vein highlighted the experience from life... pointing directly to the knowledge from book by a Cigar... and the jeans adds somewhat sense of Humor her too, powerful image ! v/f/l

Great portrait, Michel! He's enjoying while reading, smoking and being by his own! I like very much the picture itself too; great focus and framing! L&F

Very charming moment! ( I am also an cigar aficionad(a)) and I like the moment where I conquer a cigar! It is not just smoking..it is a lot more.

The way to be perfectly comfortable reading a thriller. :)
Michel Verhoef replied:

I love this because it reminds me of my cigar-smoking, cap-wearing, Marine stepdad- always w/ nose in a book and the same facial expression~ your sensitive attention to your subject endears the viewer to them- even if they're of the hard-faced, scowling sort. :O)
Michel Verhoef replied:
Thanks Danielle your comment is coming from the heart ! Glad it made it possible :) it's precious !

Simply great, Michel, love the use of shallow dof and blurry perspective, he seems deeply in the story, dont notice anything around... :-)
Michel Verhoef replied:
Yeah...his attitude is almost reflecting the book title...lol...thanks Jen :)
