Started one of these just a few days ago. It's a journey. Maybe one that takes three hours and keeps the hand and eye engaged. I have done lots of handwork: embroidery, knitting, croquet, quilting...so maybe this is just an extension of that quiet need. Except there are no patterns, no rules (only ones I invent) and no room for mistakes. So this is really much more fun.
