Description
The late afternoon sun shows every wrinkle in this old railroad bridge's face. Disconnected at both ends and collecting a huge debris dam, this bridge won't last too much longer. The shack on top and the cylindrical pier at center give this away as a "swing bridge" ... a sort of draw bridge that swings open on a pivot.

Thank you Kathi! You are right ... the only traffic is the next batch of trees during the spring flood. The bridge is in imminent danger of collapse, so I'll be checking back in for sure!
