Copyright Warning Do Not Alter My Photographer Notes: This unique photo of a camp, a structure on pilings was once a home. These type houses were plentiful years ago and could be seen for miles along the shoreline of Lake Pontchartrain. Over the years the intense hurricanes destroyed just about all the camps along Haynes Blvd. The residents in order to get to their camps would walk up and over a earthen levee which protects the city from major tidal surges which come into Lake Pontchartrain. This photo was taken with my Olympus OM10, the photo was enhanced for richer colors, and soft filter to tone the brilliant glare reflected off the water.
