Description
No conversation here but the wind's voice,
The rustle of trees, bird song and secret calls,
In dark of moonlight. Frost crisp over grass,
Rain on the cheek. After the rumbling city
The peace assails the ear.
Time here for sundry old philosophies
that hang from boughs or Whisper among leaves.
wm. Neil...scottish poet
for you Lenore Senior and Carol Senske for your terrific love of birds...

What a beautiful painting! I just found you and am enjoying your work. You are so talented and I love the sense of styles you can inhabit....your portraits, so sensitive....be it people or birds...and then this grouping, which is just lovely for this spring moment. With the words to match. I'm so happy to see such wonderful art! F/V

What a wonderful vision, Sharon!!!! You've captured that amazing glow we sometimes glimpse in the distance when the corners of our eyes register something beyond the main focal point. Kind of like life in a convoluted way. But of course, it's the focal point in this image that captures the heart ... sweet nest ... sweet birdie!!!!! Love the beautiful poem that you've quoted, as well!!!! A wonderful visit with you and your art ... i'm smiling!!!! f/v
