Description
This is another addition to my series of tulip paintings and also utilizes the newly reformulated Sennelier watercolor paints. I decided to use a lighter background for this one and some slightly more unusual colors for the foliage. The original is painted with Sennelier watercolor paint on Arches 140# cold-pressed paper and is 13.75"x9.75" in size.

Thank you Danielle! The new formulation of Sennelier paints is definitely much more intense and has a creamier consistency. So far I am very impressed.

Thank you Nancy! Tulips aren't normally my favorite flowers but they sure give a great platform for improvisation when it comes to their coloration.
