Description
The town of Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada, is often referred to as the Hub of Nova Scotia, because all main highways converge at that point because of it's geographical location at the center of the province. One of the other big attractions is Victoria Park, a 400 acre natural woodland which also contains several brooks and waterfalls, hiking trails, picnic areas and an amusement area at the main entrance. Two waterfalls are on Lepper Brook, which follows a dramatic gorge before joining the Salmon River downstream from the park.
This day was quite hot and the boys were having a great time climbing up the rocky gorge walls and then doing a high dive off the top ledges into the deep pool at the bottom. I was lucky enough to catch one in the midst of his leap, while one buddy was watching from the side of the pool. How many memories this may bring back for viewers, including me!
