Description
Kadifekale Neighborhood is one of the many districts in Turkey that will be demolished in accordance with Urban Transformation Law that was passed in 2012. Within the framework of this law, old and dilapidated buildings all over Turkey will be replaced with new and earthquake resistant houses, office buildings and shopping centers. The people currently inhabiting those neigborhoods will be forced to move out to other places mostly outside the city limits.
