STORM'S A COMIN' by Lynn Bauer was taken on a lovely spring day on the Big Sky Trail in Simi Valley, California. This is a neighborhood trail that winds through the Simi Hills, giving beautiful views of both Simi Valley and the surrounding hills. A bright pop of red indian paintbrush wildflowers next to the trail really contrasts against the dark brooding clouds that are getting ready to drop their much needed rain over the valley. In this time of drought that is being experienced in California, we are thankful for every drop of water that falls from the sky!
Simi Valley is located in the eastern end of Ventura County, just to the north of Los Angeles County.
