Description:
Dichroic glass, invented for the aerospace industry, mimics the wonderful iridescent patina of centuries old roman glass.
This original piece of art glass was handmade in the SunriseGlassArt studio in New York. Glass pieces were carefully cut and layered in a kiln, then fired to around 1400 degrees F. The glass was annealed in a slow cooling process for strength and durability.
This piece comes with a sterling silver bail. Silver chain is NOT included, but you may order one separately ($5) by emailing Lisa@sunriseglassart.com.
