The original image had a thing on the right that only served as a distraction, and the room needed to be straightened which made the crop tighter. But the real story is in the center, so sacrificing a few men doesn't matter much.
It seems this helmet is a combination of copper and brass, When I see these in person they always look like dark brass, but I guess its just dark and dull copper. These pieces are then fit together with solder, so I left that when I made this. The guys are probably navy men, and they usually wear blue of some kind. That guy on the right has some kind of really lumpy belt.
