... This is one of the big sea-stacks
at Pistol River,
just south of Gold Beach, Oregon...
Low tide is a special time
to capture the beautiful reflections
of the Pacific Ocean's sea stacks
and the gorgeous
late sunset color
in the clouds
as the fog rolls in for the night...
Long waves slowly roll into shore,
reaches their long fingers
of salty water
into the edge of the beach.
The crafty and adventurous
photographer will run out
with the receding waves
to capture the wonderful mirror
of pretty light and color,
before having to grab the camera
and tripod and run just in front
of the next set of waves
to avoid getting very wet feet
and more!
